Projects identified

I have defined nine areas of work in the garden:

1. The Potager:

     - redefine and realign 

     - cultivate

     - direct sowing and transplanting

2. Cold Frames:

     - establish cultivation

     - renovate composting

3. Iris Walk/Serpentine Border
     - redefine edges
     - weed and cultivate
     - reestablish Heuchera border

4. Orchard
     - complete the planting
     - cultivate the meadow
     - renovate box hedge

5. Courtyard, Nursery

     - Clear debris

     - Effective propagation

     - Organize toolshed

 6. Lilac walk

     - Clear debris

7. Dovecote

     - Establish a beautiful, mysterious access path

8. Back lawn

     - remove misplaced conifer

     - groom

9. Front lawn

     - Renew drive plantings

      Please realize that all of these photos were taken at what is undeniably the least attractive time in the garden, that dormant, debris-strewn period just before spring's eruption of new growth and renewal. I understand that the improvements I hope to show in this space over the next few months will result a great deal from the natural progression of the season. Nonetheless I will try very hard to assist with my own efforts that process of simultaneous restoration and renovation.
